The Somali Women Foundation (SWF) is a dedicated non-profit organization that was established and registered in Somalia in 2017. Founded by Suad Galow, who serves as the chairwoman for both the Somali Olympic Committee and the Somali Basketball Federation, SWF focuses on empowering Somali women and youth. Through various initiatives and programs, the foundation aims to enhance educational opportunities, promote leadership skills, and foster economic independence among women and young people in Somalia. By addressing societal challenges and advocating for gender equality, SWF plays a crucial role in contributing to the growth and development of Somali society, striving to create a brighter future for its women and youth.
